CYPHER
Forsooth, lady, it is not your shift yet
Deceive me not; I know only too well
What brings you here at this early hour
Your eyes delight as they feast upon him
Cherish this time; soon, they will feast no more
And his soul cry out from the green abyss.

TRINITY
His fate is not sealed. Our leader, Morpheus
Believeth him to be the Chosen One.

CYPHER
But do you, too?

TRINITY
What I think matters not. But hark! Hear that?

CYPHER
Mine ears hear nothing but the same silence.

TRINITY
You swore upon your life this line was clean.

CYPHER
So it is. So it is.

TRINITY
Morpheus, the line was traced. How, I know not.

MORPHEUS
O, but the enemy is intelligent
He hath many tools at his disposal.
They traced the hard line.
There is an exit near at Wells and Lake
The well runs deep; the lake waters are blue
Be swift of feet and hasten there; perchance
You may gain escape ere it is too late.
