FutureFix (previously 'The Back to the Future Fan Fiction Directory') was my first web project, after I thought it would be a great idea to collect all the Back to the Future fan fiction around the Internet and make a directory of them. It took me two weeks to compile the initial lot of entries, after which I maintained a fairly steady monthly updating schedule.
As time went on, the fandom grew larger and the trickle of new stories started turning into a deluge. I wrote a small PHP program to make site updates more convenient, but even with that the site eventually became more of a chore than a hobby.
In late 2010, I decided it was time to say goodbye. So the domain went offline, but I kept the static directory archived at WINM upon request by those who wanted to still refer to it.
