The spot is called Ksar Hadadda, and nearby there's really a place called "Tatauine", so now it's clear where Lucas picked the name "Tatooine" from! So, let's go!  Aerial view of the set. In this place there're several houses carved in the soil.  Another map of the set.  Let's enter the spot, now! I'm sorry, it was really crowded (30 people within few square meters!). Of course they keep on advertising it...  You can see very clearly this image in the movie - of course with Luke, not this boy,in front of it!  Why "cuisine"? Because nowadays this spot has become a restaurant!  The stuff so popular!  Luke's room...  Another door he passed through.  Tha landscape around (Raiders of the Lost Arch was filmed here as well!)  Tha last pics of Tatauine/Tatooine (it's called "The Gateway to the Desert) I hope you've enjoyed the trip!  | ||
