I have seen a total of two films of his in the theatre (Matrix Revolutions & Street Kings). Both were on free tickets. 2. I own a total of 9 of his films. None are original.

Forum Posts: 4842 Comments: 381 Reviews: 13 | you've set up this webpage ; contributed to the Matrix FAQ section on IMDb and wrote a beautiful reply to that guy ( the one with the blankofwood) all these count for much more than adding up to royalties from DVD sales / box office. besides, you still have to earn your living. I've seen SK in the theater five times, so ... it compensates for your free ticket . there is a balance somewhere you keep up the good fight on the web, and leave the 'material contributions' to us 'long-term employed people '

Forum Posts: 4842 Comments: 381 Reviews: 13 | actually, I DO like the soundtrack ; it fits so well with the image/s, sets the tone for the general atmosphere of the movie... too bad it went unnoticed in most reviews

Forum Posts: 18 Comments: 0 Reviews: 0 | Ive seen SK three timesw and I dont recall the music from the trailers ever playing. Did it? There were even parts of the trailer I never saw in the movie, like when Grace ask why he goes alone and he says sos theres only one story or something like that. Do I need to go see the movie again? Or did anyone else notice?

Forum Posts: 4842 Comments: 381 Reviews: 13 | depends on what trailer you've seen... but no, the "Let me put you on game" thing is not in the movie. actually, the trailer I have seen - the one from the official site- although it has a lot of images from the movie, serves its purpose well : it makes one want to see the movie, but reveals nothing of the main plot actually, what I like is the current movie theme that is played over and over again, and the intensity increases as the story evolves... guess that's called ' score' not 'soundtrack' and I should define my terms, as Bob would say just pay attention to the music/score played in the first scenes , when Ludlow cleans his gun, or when he starts his 'night patrol'... or the music that goes with the night /day skyline images of LA... the same theme is played at the end of the movie, with the images of the 'bloody sky' at sunset ... ( details, details...) as for the lines of why he goes alone/so there's only one story -- after reading the 'original script' thread at CK, I think this is a scene that was cut at editing... it's not in the final version of the movie. haven't seen that in any trailer, either...but I haven't seen all of them trailers. I usually go directly for the movie. and yes, can't wait for the DVD ... |
