I don't know if you've ever been out of Singapore Anakin, but at Universal Studios in Hollywood they had a ride (sadly it closed in 2007) based on Back To The Future.

I went on it once and it was pretty fun. I just remember it shook A LOT! Kind of gave me a headache.

If you take the movie set tour in the Universal Studios Hollywood tour, you can still see where they filmed the clock tower scene. Though, the change it around if they're doing some filming.

The blurb

"You'll see different facades, set pieces and sound stages featured in hit movies such as The Grinch and The Truman Show. Other notable sights include the clock tower square from the Back To the Future films and Site B from The Lost World. There is also a lake and backdrop where some scenes from The Truman Show and Apollo 13 were filmed."

I thought this was cool, but you've probably already seen it.

I've been out of Singapore; mostly to Australia and Malaysia because I've got family there.

Yeah, I know the ride closed. Never got a chance to take it, though I've seen the footage. Though there's a Universal Studios opening in Singapore in 2010, and maybe they'll have the BTTF ride there...

I've got a friend who went with some friends to visit the various BTTF filming locations on their own, and she had more pictures than that link on her personal website.

P.S. - You can edit your posts; don't need to start a whole new one each time if there have been no replies yet.

I hope they have one at the Singapore Universal Studios. My fingers are crossed for you. I think you'd really enjoy it!

Kudos to your friend. I just stumbled across that web site when I was looking for photos of the Clock Tower. That would be pretty fun to find out where certain movies were filmed (certain spots).

I know the street in L.A. where Keanu and Paula Abdul filmed a bit of their scenes for the "Rush, Rush" video. ( Not Griffith Observatory, which is kind of obvious).

And I know where Richard Gere and Julia Roberts have their "moment" at the end of "Pretty Woman." On the fire escape.

I just got carried away with my posts-posting different things. Sorry if that was annoying.

Unbelievable! I just posted to Anakin about the clock tower at Universal STudios and they (Universal) had a big fire yesterday and that was damaged, if not destroyed!!!

What a shame! There's some really cool stuff (sound stages, rides etc...) at Universal.

The Clocktower still stands. The rest of the set was destroyed though, but apparently most of it had previously burnt down during the 1990 fire in the same location.

Well at least the Clocktower is okay. I didn't know about the rest of the set being burnt down before though.
