| Forum Posts: 1101 Comments: 48 Reviews: 0 | Not to psychoanalyze because that's nonsense - I'm not a psychiatrist and I don't know Keanu personally - but I used to wonder about this gentle man being SO attracted to violent art. I think - if it was me - it would be a creative, productive way to process anger, frustration, loss and trauma. I really think it only works for Keanu because he has such a reputation as a kind and gracious person. And there's always a strong element of morality in all of his work (well, most - i'm still not a fan of Neon Demon or Knock Knock but that's ok). I'm fascinated by this project! | ||

| Forum Posts: 4842 Comments: 381 Reviews: 13 | What I love most about this whole project is the way he seems to be answering, in a way, to the memes and the fandom lore (not sure if this is the correct term for it). Instead of getting an official instagram/twitter account, run by assistants, so people could feel he is 'reachable', he chose to adopt the ' Keanu is immortal' meme and incorporate it in his own storytelling. To me, that's a thousand times better than ' he liked my instagram comment'. To me, this means he listens, he reads, and he reaches back in his own Keanu way. And I find it breathtaking ;) | ||

Definitely breathtaking! And it does feel like a way to reach out in much more responsibly than many celebrities who cultivate fans or have their assistants do so. Not to say that some don't do it responsibly but sometimes it feels very manipulative. I guess I'm especially thinking about celebrity Twitter rants. Ugh. And we always "knew" that he's "immortal." | ||
