Keanu-fan and proud of it, that's me. *grins wryly* I'm a bit obsessed, I guess. But then, so are most of us - we wouldn't be here otherwise, right?

I saw the E! interview with Ryan Seacrest live as it was happening but I would love to see it again. Anyone know where I can find it? I tried the E! website and youtube without any luck finding it. | ||

I don't have satellite or cable (in fact, I only use my tv to watch dvd's), so I had to watch the whole thing on the internet. Set my alarm clock to go off at 01:45 AM because the schedule said it'd start at 2 AM GMT+1. But NO! The red carpet live feed at oscars.com *ended* at 2 AM, and there was *NO* live feed of the actual show!
So I tried Ustream and a bunch of other sites, but eventually had to pay for a pro account at justin.tv to see anything at all. And then -- you won't believe this but it's true -- the site suffered a DOS attack!! Yes, a Denial Of Service attack, where someone floods the site with incoming traffic to crash it. I got to see the pitifully few seconds of Keanu on stage, but then the feed crashed and I missed Sandra and Kathryn's appearances. Fortunately, I still caught most of Sandra's speech because a user on justin.tv was streaming a webcam feed with the camera pointed at his tv screen. The guy sat there drinking beer and burping loudly, but at least I got to see Sandra. I was so tired after the long night, combined with a bad cold, that I skipped work on Monday. I work 50% so I went to work on Tuesday instead. So -- desperation? That's my middle name! | ||

Wanna kill me? Take me off the internet. I'd die in less than 5 minutes. | ||
