Forum Posts: 40 Comments: 1 Reviews: 0 | That was a nice interview, thanks for the link. If keanu did do a big comedy like the interviewer mentioned I hope it isn't what I would consider 'stupid humor', can't watch those kinds of movies.

Forum Posts: 1364 Comments: 153 Reviews: 0 | Is it just me, or do you too get the impression from the photos and vids from Toronto that Our Man is truly, genuinely enjoying himself? He's even smiling - grinning! - in the pix from the red carpet. He just looks happy. Maybe it's the feeling of "coming home", seeing familiar streets and buildings, meeting fellow Canadians, and being - well... home again. What do you think?

Forum Posts: 4842 Comments: 381 Reviews: 13 | I get the same impression , yes. as for whether it's due to promoting a movie he enjoyed working in, the general vibe of the festival, the "coming home" or the fact that he's working again therefore "in full gear", who knows ? maybe it's a mix of all the above.

Some guys I know tried to grow a beard but couldn't get past the 'itchy stage'. I wonder if keanu has that happen to him.

Forum Posts: 1364 Comments: 153 Reviews: 0 | Here's a short report from Layney Gossip (whoever that is) from the red carpet @ TIFF:
Not much Keanu content, so if you're in a hurry, just scroll to the bottom (over the thumbnails) and read the last 3-4 paragraphs.

well, call me cruel, but I'm not. ;) yes, he opened up to life, and life run through him ( and also run him over) at waaaay above 50. But that adds a lot of flavor ;) :D And makes him even more interesting.

Forum Posts: 83 Comments: 106 Reviews: 4 | I always thought of Keanu as an old soul. Luca's right, he's opened up to what life throws at him, a lot of it's not been good, but he's survived.

Forum Posts: 1364 Comments: 153 Reviews: 0 | Here's a video clip of Ke & co arriving at TIFF for the screening of Pippa Lee. After watching it I realise (sp?) that if someone had offered me 1 billion $$, I still would've said "no thanks" to any offer to take over Our Man's job.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OuxuXEXtXCw&NR=1 It's interesting, too, to listen to the voices shouting his name. Quite a few of them are male and probably professional photographers. Fans will completely drown in that din, no matter how much they deserve to meet The Anu. I've been in somewhat similar situations in simliar settings with rock bands I've been a fan of, and I know how much it hurts to have travelled far (even from another continent) to see the band - only to be pushed back by "the locals". It sux. :-(

Forum Posts: 330 Comments: 131 Reviews: 0 | I'd think that this is part of what K doesn't like about these things - the 'professionals' hogging the sidelines :(.

ADMIN Forum Posts: 3076 Comments: 405 Reviews: 1 | In defense of his hearing ability, we shall pool our money together and get Keanu a pair of invisible earmuffs for blocking out the screaming. :D
That and this Get Away from Paps Free card that I made ages ago:
...and yeah, that video kind of illustrates why I probably won't go stake out the airport or anything if Keanu ever came here. I already have problems with noisy crowds, and that looks like torture.

Forum Posts: 40 Comments: 1 Reviews: 0 | Thanks for the video link, that was interesting to watch. It must have taken him some time to get used to all the yelling though. Was the blond women who got out of his car a PR person? |
