@MmeRenard - I think that person was being tongue-in-cheek, hence the heart eyes and various hashtags expressing her love for Keanu.

And isn't the article SWOONY? Yeah, Keanu is well aware of the "female gaze" (I've been guilty on a number of Dogstar occasions) and I like his comfort with a female artist's appreciation - think, too, of the fabulous Annie Leibowitz photos. He's physically eloquent. His creativity can't be contained. I love that.

It's quite huge, the prints are good and very fine and high quality paper. Did not yet have much time to look at it and think about the meaning of every photo.

The dinner will be punctuated by a special reading of“Shadows” by Keanu Reeves, based on his collaboration with artist Alexandra Grant.
The evening continues with the exclusive design auction and live performance by Duran Duran.

Grant and Reeves talk about the narrative arc that they wanted to construct in the book and the shows. The first poem by Reeves reads "I was born twisted/I don't want to die." And the final poem reads, "It's my last chance." Both statements are simple yet revelatory about our common condition. Grant reveals that the last image in the book is the only one that is actually of Reeves' body and not his shadow. The image is Paired with Reeves' sentiment, "It's my last chance." Grant says, "It was a way of saying visually that we've been looking at the shadow of a person, a distortion. But we close with the actual, the real. In that moment, we recognize a chance for rebirth and even greater openness."
