It sort of compares Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure with Wayne's World. As I haven't seen the latter, I can't really give my opinion. Tell me what you think!

Attention LA based Bill & Ted fans…

The Twitter fans asked, so we made it happen. The New Beverly Cinema, LA’s coolest movie-house, is screening both B&T movies on August 29th & 30th. I’ll definitely show up for one or both of these screenings so you can pelt me with rotten vegetables.

At one point, a third 'Bill & Ted' movie was in the works, but it never got past pre-production and most of the concept was turned into the 1996 comedy Bio-Dome.

Looking at the photos of the Evil Easter Bunny, I'm actually glad they omitted that particular scene. I like cute bunnies and don't want anyone to make them look evil and scary and all that.

Unfortunately I had to view it with a fish, as she was the one who insisted that I see it, so that I can see my beautiful Keanu "when he still had facial expressions".

"Fish!" I cried, realizing that perhaps I spend a little too much time on WINM and that not everyone is familiar with our distinct argot.

Her face naturally turned into a question mark so I simply had to explain myself and we collapsed into hysterical laughter for a long moment.

We walked into my apartment and I opened the envelope to extract from it our intended DVD. She asked if she could use the bathroom to which I replied that she couldn't - I had a pond outside for fish to use. We collapsed into hysterics again, she playfully gave me the finger.

I was astonished to see the Anu as a capricious, vivacious and hyper youth. He was so adorable that it was difficult for me to look at him the way that I usually look at him. He radiated pure charm and beauty but in a more innocent, non-erotic way. I couldn't see even a single trace of the misanthropic exorcist that I so revere. His performance, I felt was amazing. I'm now even more mystified by the fish who claim that he always plays the same character. I guess I always will be.

Keanu Reeves might reprise his role as Ted ‘Theodore’ Logan in ‘Bill and Ted 3.’ Could a black-and-white, 3D ‘Bill and Ted’ be on the way, directed by Scorsese, Coppola, and Herzog?

Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure was a dream come true for the kindergarten version of me. It was silly, occasionally vulgar, hilarious, and it had time travel… inside of phone booths. Additionally, it’s the rare sort of early 90s movie that has worn shockingly well with age, due in large part to the charming performances from everyone involved, Keanu Reeves, Alex Winter, and George Carlin especially, as well as fantastic music all throughout.

Though I didn’t have the same adoration for the sequel, Bogus Journey, I still liked it a lot. Hell was at once bizarre and terrifying, and the board game contest with Death was a surprisingly clever riff on the film classic The Seventh Seal. As a result, it greatly pleases me to hear that a Bill and Ted 3 is in the very, very early stages of becoming a reality.

In an interview with MTV, Keanu Reeves teased the possibility of a second sequel:

“We’re trying. Alex and I are still friends and we’re talking, and we’re talking to Chris and Ed [the writers of Bill and Ted 1 and 2] [and] they’re going to try and see if they can write something. To me, I’d love to play the role. I’d love to work with Alex and Chris and Ed again. […] We’ll see what they do. If it’s a film that can stand up on its own … and I’m meeting people now, they’ve shown the film to their kids.”

As with all things of this ilk, take Reeves’ statement with a major grain of salt -- until something official. But it’s worth noting that Reeves was incredibly enthusiastic about the project, to the point that he pitched two very different, and very insane, ideas for the film: a black-and-white film (in—surprise, surprise—3D!) or a multi-director film with Martin Scorsese, Francis Ford Coppola, and Werner Herzog about innocence VS. nihilism.

Hey, why not both?

Whenever one of these sequels (to twenty-year-old movies) are being talked about, such as with Rocky Balboa, Live Free and Die Hard, Rambo, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, filmmakers always focus on their interest in exploring the main character’s mortality as he or she ages. With the exception of Rocky Balboa, this almost never succeeds.

I’m going to say it again here: it would be interesting to see Bill and Ted, two of the dumbest, most inane characters in movie history—veritable caricatures of real life valley-people—come to terms with the hard, cruel truths of reality. Sure, the Bill and Ted movies were low-brow entertainment, through and through, but all the more reason to dig even deeper -- and get even weirder. There’s no reason why a Bill and Ted sequel can’t be funny, entertaining, and interesting, all at the same time.

Sadly, George Carlin will be unable to reprise his roll as Rufus (one of those hard, cruel truths), but everyone else, Alex Winter included, seem completely onboard with the idea.

And here’s an idea. Wyld Stallyns has been disbanded and the future looks grim. Rufus had been sent to the past to fix the problem (original trip to the past) but one of those pesky Butterfly Effects erases him from time completely. Remnants of his memory gets the future civilization, and whatever org. Rufus worked for, to recruit Bill and send him to save Rufus, since he has nothing better to do. Of course, something goes wrong and they recruit Ted to help Bill. Of course, Ted realizes that what Bill didn’t have was a team, so he takes their kids, freshmen in college (and perhaps taking history?), to save Bill. Long story short, 2 Phone Booths, 4 Time Travellers, infinite # of Timelines, and perhaps they introduce dimensional travel and crossing of time streams. The only thing they aren’t able to do is save Rufus, whose Butterfly Effect event actually was due to a timeline set in motion by B & T when they traveled to the future and looped back in Bogus Journey. This trip does remind them that Wyld Stallyns is one of their greatest successes since it united society, and united them as pseudo-brothers. It ends with B&T Wyld Stallyns being the heads of time travel research (in a cheesy way, of course) and their kids perhaps travelers in the future.

if they manage to make the movie, with the experience they have now, I think it will be quite an interesting one.
