Oh yes, one thing I need to get my hands on: The Matrix 1,2,3 + The Matrix Revisited. I actually bought the first three films as a boxset, but then decided to give it away as a gift. So now I need to get that. I watched some stuff on Youtube, but it's different to have it all together.

You won't believe me, but I actually wanted to write a four page essay on the first Matrix film and I still haven't done it. It's overdue. XD I don't know why, but university makes me feel as if I wasn't good enough to write about something I feel so strongly about. Actually, most of the time I feel as if I had to sell my soul. I find a lot of university work tiring and exhausting.

If I'll ever get that essay done, I'd love to share my ideas. I can't even explain my love for the Matrix films to other people, especially those who think the films are just stupid and lame. Not to mention all those people who don't appreciate Keanu. D:

I can't really explain my love for the Matrix movies to other people either; mostly because ... I guess everyone reacts to them differently, depending on their cultural and personal background... what you bring to the party will influence what you leave with...

Yeah, I think everyone interprets the films in their own way. And everyone likes different aspects of the film. I'm not such a great fan of action, so in the last part of the trilogy I wouldn't like a great part of the film, but could appreciate it in another way. I think your description fits my idea of how people react to the films quite well.

I'll see about the essay. ^^ I fear it will end up like the one I did on "My Own Private Idaho", kind of... heartless. That I will write it because I have to write about something. And I don't even know whether it's worth sending off, as I am way too late, but I want to write it anyway.
