I stand corrected ;) personally I have a truckload of questions, but wonder what that McGuffin would be... let's tweet the script at wbpictures, then. 140 characters at a time. inkhuldra and I started a tweeting campaign last night anyway ;) :D you made me curious, dammit! and I'm worse than a spoiled brat in that respect :D

In answer to your question ---- I don't really like answers to all questions - hence the title. Quite often as soon as we answer a question a new one pops up , so do we ever really answer all the questions? My take is that considering everything that Connie has seen, it would take something big to make him say WTF! So the biggest questions of all are internal not external. Considering this is guy who is willing to buy his way into heaven, well I think he's got some pretty big questions, not to mention a lot of stuff that only he can deal with - such as; a package containing a jeweled spider that when you least expect can deliver a nasty poison for a birthday present; a door with no handle that keeps appearing and disappearing, and not to mention a wife who keeps wanting to invite the neighbors over for "company". All while trying to stay normal amidst friends and foe who constantly have "favors" they need doing. Connie doesn't have it easy but only he knows how to navigate a world that some of us only dream about, even if they are nightmares. But some nightmares are all too real......

Forum Posts: 70 Comments: 1 Reviews: 1 | Isn't it funny. When I write I quite often see the actors play the part in my mind so I am seeing their inflection on how they deliver the lines. I've always done that. Seems to work for me.

Forum Posts: 70 Comments: 1 Reviews: 1 | By the way the spider was just a practical joke. In the script. It is because I really needed to see Keanu - you know how he does it - do that arm flap Arrrgh step back shake head thing he does. Gotta admit that kinda cracks me up.
It is just a brief moment in the script and it does have a nice 180 to it. He sees it come alive in the box - does that head shake step back thing goes to step on it as it runs (close up on foot and spider) then a female hand reaches in and picks up spider which has now turned back into a jeweled spider. The card is the joke, meant for Constantine to keep his wits about him considering where he is.

Forum Posts: 70 Comments: 1 Reviews: 1 | Thanks very much. Really. Don't really talk about my writing very much, and as well most people in my life aren't really into things the way I am. So I understand that "life of existence" mode that I put Connie in at the beginning. Besides his character is one of the few out there that really takes sarcasm to the next level. And boy oh boy do I like that. Gotta be quick with the one liners for that guy cause behind the smirk or grimice is one very fast thinking guy.

Forum Posts: 1364 Comments: 153 Reviews: 0 | I'm always happy to find fresh Constantine content on the web. Ani, methinks this should go into the archive, no? It's an article about how successful movies are divided into three acts, and it discusses the second act and how Constantine's lack of success may have been partly to blame on a lack of a clear protagonist/antagonist conflict in act two.
The author, William C. Martell (http://www.scriptsecrets.net/corner/authorbi.htm), is a script writer, and he mentions that Warner Bros. had brought him in to pitch ideas for a new Keanu franchise after the Matrix trilogy.

Forum Posts: 2836 Comments: 74 Reviews: 11 | I am trying to be here now and not lament the movies that are not moving along. 47Ronin is going to have so much press and Gen um is supposed to be out in November here in the US. I've only seen Henry's Crime once so the dvd coming out will be a major treat for me! |
