ADMIN Forum Posts: 3076 Comments: 405 Reviews: 1 | I doubt this is true; I think when it surfaced a few years ago, someone asked Keanu about it and he said it was the first he'd heard of it, if so. 'Youth Health Mag' isn't exactly a reputable source of movi news, and IMDb (not "IBDB") never confirmed anything - it's not a news organisation, and that page was just its automated news feed.
If it's true, though, the plot is being kept secret, and anything else is speculation.

Forum Posts: 1101 Comments: 48 Reviews: 0 | It seems to me that Keanu was quite emphatic about "Neo is dead." I doubt we'll see any zombie Neos.

Forum Posts: 777 Comments: 3 Reviews: 0 | It was very fruitful cooperation The Wachowskis-K.Reeves. Maybe they could be like G.Lucas-H.Ford? But it was only The Matrix. Anyway continuation without Keanu wouldn't be successful, I think.

I haven't seen it, but I found the original disappointing.

Forum Posts: 1101 Comments: 48 Reviews: 0 | Indeed. But we don't know whose poster it is for sure, do we? The whole thing strikes me as vaguely creepy "if you know this guy, have him get in touch with his friend"? and I couldn't help anyway.
Maybe I'm just being a curmudgeon.

this time, notice the t-shirt. and yes, the texts accompanying the photos do come across as odd and maybe a bit desperate? I thought about posting just the photos, but it's more fair to post the link, so everyone can see the source and make up their mind about it...

Forum Posts: 1101 Comments: 48 Reviews: 0 | I had noticed the t-shirt - that's pretty darned funny.
Thank you, I feel less curmudgeonly. You're right to post the whole link. I don't know, I'm certainly not famous, but I would and have stayed in touch with anyone with whom I hung out as a teen if I've wanted to - but I'm a very different person now, and in school you kind of get thrown together with people. There are some people from high school with whom I hung out that I have very consciously chosen not to continue to connect with - but that's me. I don't know anything about this situation - maybe it's someone that he lost contact with and would like to see again.

Forum Posts: 5 Comments: 3 Reviews: 0 | I saw the new Point Break bc my husband wanted to see it. I have to say it doesn't live up to the original. Keanu's Point Break was by no means a great movie, but it did have a certain cheesy appeal that this remake is seriously lacking. Just my opinion, but if you want entertaining cheesy camp, watch the original Point Break or Knock Knock. Knock Knock is a total guilty pleasure movie. Smoke a little weed or have a few glasses of wine and embrace the cheese.
MmeRenard | 2016-01-14 05:49:44
Forum Posts: 1101 Comments: 48 Reviews: 0 | The original Point Break isn't a great movie, but it's beautiful. Keanu and Patrick Swayze are perfect. Awkward at times, sure, but just perfect. I'm not 100% sure that Keanu's awkwardness is always intentional (though I do think that his awkwardness often IS intentional) but it makes perfect sense for the character to me. I don't think I'd even call it "cheesy" but maybe naive, in the best way.
I didn't find Knock Knock entertaining at all, but that's me.

Forum Posts: 5 Comments: 3 Reviews: 0 | Mme Renard, I agree. Knock Knock was pretty bad, but I kind of equate it to one of those terrible Lifetime movies. Like you know it's really bad, but you can't stop watching. He looks quite handsome in it, so maybe that's clouding my judgment :) |
