Button for donations is on the WINM main page -> http://www.freewebtown.com/whoaisnotme

No idea if it works though.

This is currently the only way I can set up the site (US$10 per year) without asking my parents for their credit card numbers.... I could pay you back! once... the thing gets money from exploiting fish and tricking them into donating with buttons that say "Want Keanu to stop making movies? Pay us and we'll see what we can do about it!"

Er.

Okay. I wanted a card for internet payments since a long time... but this is the final push.
will go today to the bank to start the necessary proceedings for getting one.
bare with me -- and the bank... - it could take up to two weeks...
BUT it will be done.

Am trying to get hold of my friend's Paypal account, though; if I can give her cash IRL and have her credit it to my Paypal account, it should do for the moment.

Hoping for a 2nd September site launch.

done my part ; filed in the request and all that.
now the bloody bank has to issue the card.
waiting time - 10 days.
minimum.

then I'll have to see if PayPal accepts my account ... I hope my bank does have an agreement with them.
they say they do... but you know... it's like when the dentist tells you it's not gonna hurt ...
yeah, sure ...

anyway. just have to wait and let things unfold...

I thought regular credit cards work with PayPal too?

'regular' ones, yes.

however, mine is a 'debit card', issued in 2003, and valid only for withdrawing cash at ATM's or bank transfer at POS's ...

didn't bother to upgrade it so far , as I'm rather wary of Internet payments.
however... times DO change, and I have to keep up.
it just seemed the right time...

besides , "my" bank is one with Romanian capital / name, not an international one such as UniCredit or ABN AMRO or whatever.
but they are part of the MasterCard convention... so hopefully this adventure is going to work.

*crosses fingers*
