The Hollywood star Keanu Reeves is in town. Reeves is working on a book with the publisher Gerhard Steidl, G"ttingen.
On Thursday evening, 12th August, he was seen in town eating a snack in front of the Gebhard Hotel.
Claudia Glenewinkel, spokeswoman for the Steidl publishing house confirmed that Keanu Reeves is there because of the publisher.

Reeves gives autographs again and disappears

For hours some fans had been waiting for him: accompanied by fortunate teenagers, the Hollywood star Keanu Reeves turned up on Friday evening walking from Steidl publishing house to the Gebhard Hotel where he was staying.
Keanu is producing a biography with Steidl (the publisher). and that was the reason for his stay in the city, HNA reported. Reeves acted cautiously but friendly, eye-witnesses say. Polite and unpretentious, he signed autographs.

He said that G"ttingen was a beautiful little town and that his stay was pleasant. On Saturday morning the superstar left southern Lower Saxony for an unknown destination.
