| Forum Posts: 2836 Comments: 74 Reviews: 11 | FOX has made public in an early alert to retailers their plans to bring the 2010 comedy “Henry’s Crime” starring Keanu Reeves, Vera Farmiga and James Caan to Blu-ray Disc on August 23rd. Tech specs for the release include full 1080p Hi-Def video in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The title is already available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon with a $20.99 price tag. No bonus materials appear to be included on this release.

Blu-ray costs extra so they should make an effort to drag out the directors and actors to do commentary or at least include some interviews or film fest things. When I think of how many interviews reeves does for his movies it would be easy to get some to put on the blu-ray re releases. I have a little idea that reeves doesn't want outtakes to be shown so maybe that's why we don't get those? Maybe. I think its the distributors that fuck up. Look at nothing extra on HC. But no problem with plenty of ads for other movies.... I will shut up now cuz I don't want to rant. ;) | ||

| Forum Posts: 2836 Comments: 74 Reviews: 11 | I am partially through the new blu-ray of DA and there are new lines here and there on the extra scenes or deleted scenes. Nothing big but when you've seen it a lot you can tell what is new. The quality on the deleted scenes is better than the dvd version but there is a lot of dust, fibers, scratches, visible. The quality on the actual movie is remarkably good. I often think that the diff between blu-ray and dvd is marginal but this looks wonderful. Depth, and crispness I did not expect. It will make for good gifs. I will get back here after I've seen the whole disk. | ||

| Forum Posts: 2836 Comments: 74 Reviews: 11 | More about DA Blu-ray. They cut all the extras about historical/literary John Milton & the devil. There are 13 deleted scenes that have a line or 2 different dialogue here and there. Nothing really new that wasn't on the dvd. There are 8 languages for the audio. The polski is just speaking along with the english. The others are regular dubbing. There are a lot of languages for subtitles. Maybe 16 including 2 different spanish and 2 different portuguese. The subs are just for the movie not the commentary. IIRC there is chinese subs for directors commentary and that is the same commentary from the dvd. Nothing really exciting new unless you need those language subs and audio. | ||
