Forum Posts: 1101 Comments: 48 Reviews: 0 | Arya, kind of exactly my reaction. Most enigmatic, just when he was starting to seem a whole lot less enigmatic. I like that.

Forum Posts: 39 Comments: 0 Reviews: 0 | Hmmmm.... I didn't quite see that he definitely said he was doing a TV Series. He wants to tell a story, yeah, and likes the "expedition" of TV,,, But did he actually say he was going to do it? Maybe I need to listen again.. :) Nice interview,,,, The game is on! hehe

Forum Posts: 1101 Comments: 48 Reviews: 0 | I did see the wiki article, but there is also a Tom Stoppard play called "Arcadia" and I wouldn't think that unlikely. Many possibilities, all interesting.

Forum Posts: 4842 Comments: 381 Reviews: 13 | Heh, I'd love to see KR bring this to the big screen. Especially if he plays Bernard ;) http://ebookbrowsee.net/arcadia-by-tom-stoppard-pdf-d333586461

Forum Posts: 345 Comments: 10 Reviews: 0 | Been saying for years this new golden age of television is where it is at for artists. Channels like HBO are pumping out gold.
Anyone watching True Detectives? Holy chit! The acting is phenomenal and the story keeps you glued. It is an anthology an 8 hour movie. Don't dismiss TV. Breaking Bad? The Wire? Sopranos kind of started it all (well, more like OZ but that was like a test) once AMC bought the Sopranos syndication way back in 08 I saw the direction they were going. Anyone who has spoken to me knows how I wanted to see KR use this medium for maximum effect (been saying it for years...heh) Especially after the Ronin PR disaster. Screw big budget studios. HBO allows a ton of artist freedom. /rant off :D Be sure to read this too. Creator/writer of TD explains how HBO snapped him up and allowed him to run with it. would help if I posted link: http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2014/02/04/inside-the-obsessive-strange-mind-of-true-detective-s-nic-pizzolatto.html

I guess I missed the part where anyone in this discussion "dismissed" TV.
