 Forum Posts: 1364 Comments: 153 Reviews: 0 | What a nice surprise: WINM has a freshened-up front page with lots of nice new thingies, like a highly useful snippet about dinosaurs. I believe I see a cunningly hidden meaning here, in that those movie critics who don't "get" Our Man tend to be people who are slow, bloated (ego-wise) and dumb, or fast (as in "I can write this review in 30 seconds!"), vicious and ... dumb.
I like the Flash "fishtank", too. I just wish there was some sort of clever way for us to shoot them. Yup, shooting fish. It's actually quite popular in some parts of Norway. The hunters (fishermen?) shoot bass (a type of fish with sharp, pointy teeth and an ugly demeanour) with rifles. I have a friend whose father and brother are keen fishooters. ...but actually the dinosaurs are just there because dinosaurs are awesome. Yeah. No hidden meaning. And some dinosaurs are fast and really, really smart! :( Like velociraptors! And pterodactyls eat fish... The fishtank was LucaM's idea, so she gets credit for that. :) | ||

I narrowed the whole site for the benefit of smaller screens (my laptop has a fairly wide screen and is therefore not good for designing sites on). The whole page should be able to fit onto your screen in terms of width; if it still can't, let me know and tell me your screen resolution. There might be a bunch of formatting bugs around as a result of the change. I've found and fixed a few, but if there are any more, let me know. :) | ||

I know coz' I used to have a website. And much later, a blog. And even later, co-admin rights to a website about one of my hobbies: sighthound coursing. Unfortunately, I just don't have the time. But I do have bouts of pretty intense activity on forums that are related to my interests and hobbies - and right now WINM is suffering the effects.
But anyways, having a life just gets in the way of more important things. Life must, therefore, yield. That's how it is. | ||
